How Our Training is Delivered
This 18-week training takes place in a dynamic online learning environment that includes weekly live webinars (all recorded) with Jill Badonsky and a special live lecture, recordings, and readings from Dr. Robert Maurer. This mode of delivery has been specifically designed with our students in mind. Students practice-coach with each other during the training, listen to and evaluate coaching calls.
We are fulfilled when we train the mind to be positively resourceful, when we authentically share our gifts, and when we engage the unique potential of the self. Making this process fun, supportive and accessible means the positive gains last longer. Creativity does not have a ceiling, it just keeps expanding and opening new doors to deeper living.
Graduation from this program automatically invites you to join the distinctive KMC3 Kaizen-Muse Creativity Coaching Coalition whose membership is based on the standards met through the training and not just on your ability to pay a membership fee. The association site offers consistent philosophy, teachings, and techniques rather than competing ones, and enhances the credibility and integrity of Kaizen-Muse Creativity Coaches. This is a supportive, non-competitive atmosphere of sharing and respect.
Our community of creativity coaches is diverse, talented and vibrant. We attract people who want to use creativity coaching to make a vital difference in the world and are passionate about the creative process and the positive change it can bring to individuals, groups, and businesses.
Already a Coach or Counselor?
If you are a life coach or counselor, you might notice your approach with creative clients needs to be different or you will experience rapid turnover. Rebellion and resistance are natural parts of being creative. Unfortunately, these dynamics sometimes work counter to the intentions of creative individuals as they rebel against their own structure as well as those of helping professionals. Kaizen-Muse Creativity Coaching takes into account the dynamics of creative individuals and the creative process that other coaching approaches may overlook, such as:
- resistance to authority
- the non-linear, intuitive nature of the creative process
- creativity-related avoidance
- an indirect approach to setting INTENTIONS (setting “goals” can actually block a creative person)
- the need for breaks, daydreaming, and downtime
- the need for nurturing and compassion
- plugging into creative strengths and past successes
- question-asking versus directives
The KMCC program can enhance your life coaching practice, enabling you to attract new clients and maintain longer, more productive coaching relationships.
No experience as a coach?
Some of our most successful coaches are artists, writers, musicians, and other creative professionals who, through experience, acquired the wisdom and insight necessary to be a creativity coach. If you have people skills and a passion for creativity, please don’t hesitate to apply or ask questions.

“The design of the Kaizen Muse coaching is unique; like nothing else I’ve ever seen in the coaching world. One of the most useful parts of the Training Manual is the section on ‘Kaizen Muse Creativity Coaching Ten Tools.’ These tools operate in a different part of the brain from what’s accessed in coaching for ‘results’ or ‘performance.’
The tools are effective with clients at any stage of development, and they can be taken off the shelf the minute the coach recognizes a pattern of thinking or behaving. Specific applications of each tool are provided with detailed instructions. What can I say: It’s a gold mine!!!”

“Big thank you close to 10 years now Jill Badonsky“I had the privilege and joy to participate in Jill’s Kaizen-Muse Creativity Coaching and also Jill’s Muse Facilitator Training programs in California around 2007. My intention in studying the process of creativity with Jill was to support myself in becoming a working professional artist and stay inspired and alive in my creativity for the rest of my life. Her programs more than answered my questions and thirst for understanding how artists can thrive. Close to a decade later I remain inspired, producing, and alive in my creativity. Jill’s work is due credit and is ahead of its time and goes beyond the physical to support creatives to overcome their blocks and succeed. The tools she shares work. I am a living testament. Thank you Jill for sharing your work, your humor, your inspiration. I highly recommend Jill to anyone wanting to really learn how to work effectively with artists, or with their own creative selves for that matter.”

“I am so glad to say that it was Jill’s books that paved my way into signing up for the KMCC training. And am I thankful. This study course has given me so much more than I ever expected; knowledge about the creativity process, tools that truly work to keep the creativity flowing, my favorite has been the interaction with other students and master coaches.
My own creativity has been reinvigorated, and the importance of fostering creativity has been reconfirmed. When I consider the time before KMCC creativity coaching ever existed and compare it to what we have learned and experienced in the past four months, I’m overwhelmed by Jill’s creative vision along with those who supported her. Thank you for sharing your gifts with our hungry creative souls.”
— Anita Mack Beatty
“And as far as being a KMCC coach… Wow, when I think about how much I dreaded going to my life-coaching conference calls, how stifled I felt, how cookie-cutter predictable it was — oh my, it was not for me. So I am grateful for your version of coaching and how much freedom and fun and creativity and unpredictability it brings (not to mention being profoundly powerful and life-changing). It will stretch me to become more of myself, which feels so deliciously daring! It is the perfect compliment to the work I already do, and who knows how I’ll weave it all together!”
— Bonnie, Ohio
“I was in consistent awe of how organized the course was as well as how rich and abundant the manual and the fun treats were. you truly exceeded my expectations!”
— Wickie Stamps, San Francisco
“This was one of the most meaningful, inspiring, impactful and loving trainings I have ever taken. Not only did I get exactly what I wanted from it — creative coaching tools and increased confidence in coaching — but it far exceeded my expectations! I had so many epiphanies while doing the homework, I met amazing classmates (it was so easy to get to know people through reflections in call points, being on the calls and listening to recordings — great use of technology).
I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know my practice coach and practice client and benefitted from their wisdom. I love my assigned master/mentor coach Kathy and the other master coaches were terrific — they all brought their own style and passion to the training. Of course, I am so very grateful to you Jill — I am in total awe of your creativity, your books, illustrations and this wonderful course you developed and delivered in a fun and engaging way. And I felt very cared about. Honestly, there is nothing I would have changed about this course (and I don’t think I’ve ever said that about a course!) “
— Jan Gottlieb
“I have never been more inspired by any class, workshop or training than the KMCC program. Jill’s passion for creativity coaching is contagious, and she delivers the wisdom of her experience in ways that anyone can grasp and understand. My investment in KMCC is the best gift I’ve ever given to my Self. I know it has the power to change lives… it’s changing mine!”
— Debbie Ogle, Asheville
“I am so impressed by the hands-on experience, tools, and philosophy supporting the KMCC model, as well as the comprehensive and thorough certification program and support that’s offered around it (especially post-training) that it’s the only creativity coaching training program and model I can wholeheartedly recommend at this time to fellow creatives, to artistic souls who are open to life’s mysteries and who value compassion over dogma.”
— Chris Dunmire, Creativity Portal
“Out of all the many classes I have taken, this KMCC program/training is my all time favorite, so magical!!!”
— Tracy Wallace
“Heck, this whole friggin program has been HUGE! LOL! But I am so grateful that I am being led to reach inside of myself. Every email, every call, every class is a coaching experience for me. I walk away with a new awareness, and THAT is powerful!”
